Dantec Clavis (handheld)
Botulinum Toxin (Botox) Injection Device
The Dantec Clavis device combines the high-quality features of amplifiers found in larger systems, guiding the practitioner in the precise identification of muscles and nerves for drug injection. Its small size and weight of just 500g offer complete portability and ease of use.
What is the Dantec Clavis?
The Dantec Clavis by Natus / Dantec Denmark is an innovative device that combines EMG signal acquisition and electrical stimulation, all in the size of a "smartphone"!
The Dantec Clavis device provides EMG signal acquisition with an audible signal and electrical stimulation with a current range of 0-15 mA. It allows for pulse duration selection between 0.1 or 0.2 ms and frequency selection between 1 or 2 Hz, ensuring safe, guided drug injection. Switching between the two methods is simple with the press of a button, with no delay. To enhance the device's use, the manufacturer has designed special Bo-ject type needles for signal acquisition/injection, ideal for injecting substances such as botulinum toxin (Botox). These needles are engineered to provide the best signal acquisition while maximizing patient comfort. They are compatible with luer-lock and slip-fit syringes.
